You can break your core content out inside as many modules/lessons as you want! And don't forget to enable comments on the lessons you want people engaging on (unless you're using an external tool for group engagement like FB groups).
I like to use a combo of comments (public to the group) + quiz questions (private to you and the person submitting). The quiz questions can be used as a private "journal" or "homework" section, whereas comments can be more group engagement collaboration goodness. Get creative!
If your group program has a live call component, I recommend making a Call module and have the call dates/times broken out as lessons. Those will then be where you put the replays. Be sure to enable comments on these if you want people to be able to engage AFTER the live call, and if you want people to ask questions BEFORE the call if they aren't able to show up live.
